Prices are per visit or walk, not per pet — I'd never simply charge twice because you have two.

I look after pets throughout Cranleigh and the surrounding Surrey and West Sussex villages, covering most homes within around 10–15 miles.
Staying local means less time spent travelling and more time focused on what matters: dependable, one-to-one care for your pets, and peace of mind for you.
Travel within 10 miles of Cranleigh is included in my standard rates. For bookings a little further afield, a small travel supplement may apply — typically between £3 and £10 depending on distance and how often I visit. Any additional charge is always agreed before you book.
If you're unsure whether I cover your area, just send me a message — I'll always do my best to help.

Not sure if you're in my patch? Just message — I'll always let you know.
From first message to a happy, well-cared-for pet — here's how we'll get there.
Message me your location, your pet(s), the dates and the service you're after.
We meet in your home, no obligation, so your pet and I can say hello and I can learn their routine.
We settle feeding times, walks and any home bits — all written down so nothing's missed.
I care for your pet in their own home and keep you posted with photos and messages.
Animals have always been a big part of my life. I currently share my home in Cranleigh with Coco, my Bearded Collie, and two cats, Fudge and Shadow. Over the years I've also cared for guinea pigs, hamsters, dwarf rabbits, and chickens, so I understand that every pet has their own personality, routine, and needs.
I moved to Cranleigh with my family in 2023 and have two children who share my love of animals. When I'm not spending time with pets, you'll often find me enjoying the countryside that made us fall in love with the area.
In my professional life, I've worked for over 25 years as a Solutions Architect in the insurance industry, where reliability, attention to detail, and trust are essential. I bring those same qualities to every pet I care for.
My aim is simple: to provide calm, dependable, one-to-one care that keeps your pets happy, comfortable, and following the routines they know and love, while giving you complete peace of mind.
Looking forward to meeting you both.
When you're away, you shouldn't have to wonder who's turned up. With me, you always know.
Your pet gets my full attention — one-to-one, in their own home, on their own routine.
I know how much it takes to leave your pet with someone. I treat that trust as the whole job.
Messages and photos while you're away, so you can see they're happy and settled.
Independent pet-care insurance covering all the services I provide, for real peace of mind.
Based in Cranleigh and focused on this corner of Surrey — a familiar face, close to home.
Same feeding times, same walk, same comforts. The less changes for your pet, the better.
Let's make being away a little easier.
— Nadia, Your Furry Godmother
Woodland walks, garden-watching and plenty of lazy afternoons — every one cared for in their own home, right here in the area.

A few notes from local owners who've handed Nadia their keys — and their peace of mind.
The photo updates completely put my mind at rest on our first weekend away. Bella was clearly happy and in her own routine — I actually relaxed for once.
Our old boy doesn't cope with kennels, so the solo walks and check-ins have been a godsend. Nadia's reliable, punctual and genuinely kind with him.
She house-sat for a week, kept the plants alive and the routine spot-on. Came home to happy pets and a tidy house. We won't book anyone else now.
A few things people often ask before their first booking.
Cranleigh and the surrounding Surrey and West Sussex villages — including Ewhurst, Shamley Green, Bramley, Wonersh, Hascombe, Alfold, Dunsfold, Rudgwick, Chiddingfold, Godalming, Milford, Witley, Billingshurst, Loxwood, Kirdford, Wisborough Green, Guildford and beyond — most homes within around 10–15 miles. Travel within 10 miles is included; a little further afield may add a small supplement (typically £3–£10), always agreed before you book.
Both. Whether it's a single day trip to London or ongoing weekly walks, I'm happy to help — regular slots are worth booking early as they fill up.
We'll always start with a free meet & greet. I'll ask about your pet's routine, feeding, your vet's details and an emergency contact. Dogs should be up to date with their vaccinations.
I'll contact you straight away and follow your instructions. If it's urgent and I can't reach you, I'll take your pet to your registered vet — which is why I take those details at the meet & greet.
Life happens — just let me know as soon as you can, and in most cases there's no charge at all. A small fee may only apply to longer stays cancelled at very short notice. You can read the full terms & cancellation policy here.
Fill in a few details and I'll get back to you to arrange a complimentary meet & greet, so we can talk through your pet's routine before anything's booked.

Your Furry Godmother is a small, local pet-care business run by Nadia Murray in Cranleigh, Surrey. This notice explains what personal information is collected when you use this website and get in touch, and what your rights are. For any privacy question — or to exercise your rights — just contact me using the WhatsApp, phone or email details on this page.
This website doesn't store your information or set any tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. The enquiry form doesn't send anything to a server — it simply opens WhatsApp with a message ready for you to send. Information is only collected when you choose to contact me, and may include:
I use your details only to reply to your enquiry, arrange a free meet & greet, and provide the pet-care services you ask for. The lawful bases for this are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and my legitimate interest in responding to enquiries about my services.
If you message me through the WhatsApp links or the enquiry form, your message is handled by WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) under their own privacy policy. I don't sell your information or share it with anyone else, except where I'm required to by law.
I keep your information only for as long as I need it to respond to you and provide the services you've booked, plus any period required for tax or legal reasons — after which it's deleted.
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask for a copy of the information I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to or restrict how it's used. To exercise any of these, just get in touch.
If you're unhappy with how your information has been handled, please contact me first so I can put things right. You can also contact the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
These are the simple terms we agree to when you book, so we both know where we stand. Nothing here is meant to be heavy-handed — it's just to keep things clear and fair for both of us, and it doesn't affect your legal rights as a consumer.
We'll always start with a free, no-obligation meet & greet, and a booking is confirmed once we've agreed the dates, service and details together.
So I can look after your pet safely, I'll ask you to share their routine and feeding, along with your vet's details and an emergency contact. When you book, you're confirming that:
None of this is to catch anyone out — it simply keeps your pet, other animals and people safe.
I'll always care for your pet with reasonable care and skill, and follow the instructions we've agreed. If something comes up that we haven't covered, I'll use my best judgement in your pet's interest and let you know as soon as I can.
If your pet becomes unwell, I'll contact you straight away and follow your wishes. If it's urgent and I can't reach you, you're authorising me to seek veterinary treatment — ideally from your registered vet — to keep them safe. Any veterinary or related costs remain the owner's responsibility, so I'd always recommend keeping your own pet insurance in place.
Prices are agreed before your booking begins. For most visits and walks, payment is simply due around the time of the service; for longer stays we'll agree how and when to settle up when we confirm the booking.
Life happens, and I'll always try to be flexible — so in most cases there's no charge at all for changing or cancelling, whatever the reason. Just let me know as early as you're able to.
If you booked online or over the phone, you also have a legal right to cancel within 14 days. If you'd like your care to start within that period, that's absolutely fine — just be aware that if you then cancel, I may charge for any care I've already provided.
The only other exception is for longer stays. If you've booked a longer period of care — more than four days — and need to cancel at very short notice, it's usually too late for me to offer that time to another family, so a booking like that effectively means turning others away. In that situation I may ask for a small cancellation fee of 15% of the booking, to cover part of that lost time. I'd only ever apply it where it's genuinely warranted, and I'll always talk it through with you first.
I'm fully insured for the services I provide, including care, custody & control. I'll happily take responsibility for anything that genuinely goes wrong through my own fault. I can't, though, be held responsible for things outside my reasonable control, or for the natural behaviour of animals. As the owner, you remain responsible for any injury or damage your pet causes to other people, animals or property.
Nothing in these terms limits my responsibility for death or personal injury caused by my negligence, or for anything else that can't be excluded by law.
Very occasionally, events beyond my control — such as serious illness or extreme weather — may mean I have to change or pause a booking. If that ever happens, I'll let you know as quickly as I can, help arrange alternative care where possible, and handle any refund fairly.
I love sending photo and message updates while you're away — it's part of the service. I'll only ever share those pictures more widely, such as on my website or social media, with your permission.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction. If any part of them turns out not to apply, the rest still stands. I may update these terms from time to time; the version that applies to your booking is the one in place when you book — and I'm always happy to talk anything through, so just ask.
